This Comfort Pad is covered with a material that gives the feel of fine, stretchy leather. Pleather is 80% polyester and 20% spandex and can be wiped clean with a cloth and warm water or an antibacterial wipe. The cover is made with a hidden zipper for production purposes and is not intended for removal of the unlined insert. It is water-resistant but should not be immersed in water or left out in wet weather.
According to the sole U.S. manufacturer of Talalay foam, our natural, uniform Talalay latex foam insert is made from rubber-based material harvested from the tropical hevea brasiliensis tree, which has a 25-year productive life. Talalay latex can be found in high-end bedding construction and offers exceptional pressure point relief naturally.
