Mission Statement

My intention in creating the Featherstones Comfort Pad is to bring support, pain relief, and comfort to any area of your body.

My original motivation to create the Comfort Pad was to bring comfort to tender, sore or sensitive breasts in the face-down prone position – a very real need I came to realize over many years as a massage therapist specializing in therapeutic and Prenatal massage therapy. While accomplishing that, I have realized it offers so much more.

The Comfort Pad can aid sore backs and spines, upright or prone. It’s great for lumbar support on that long drive or flight. It can cushion a nursing mom while feeding her baby or sleeping on her stomach. It’s an excellent yoga accessory. It makes massage, chiropractor and acupuncture appointments much more comfortable for the client, which lets the practitioner to provide a more effective treatment. A relaxed body is a receptive body.
